The other day, Anna asked us the following question:
What is Excel 2007 row limit and how to bypass it?
An Excel 2007 (as well as Excel 2010) worksheet contains a row limit of 1,048,576 rows which is 16 times larger than the previous versions of Excel. There is no simple way to bypass this row limit.
If you want to manage larger sets of data my recommendation will be to use a relational database management system such as Microsoft Access (in any version) or MS SQL Sever Desktop edition.
