How to Open MDI files in Office 2010?

| January 24, 2011 | 0 Comments

Andy asked us the following question:

How do I open MDI files in Office 2010? In earlier versions of Office I was easily able to work on them using the Microsoft Office Document Imaging application. If not is there any covenrter or viewer i can use to read these MDI files?

Thanks for the question, Andy. Unfortunately, Microsoft has removed the Microsoft Office Document Imaging application in Office 2010 and this is no longer possible. Although, you can try Bugysoft’s MDI2PDF converter to get your job done. If you have a computer running an older version of MS-Office you will definitely be able to access these files.

Let’s hope that Microsoft releases and Add-on to get this functionality in Office 2010.

Good luck!
