How to solve the d3dx9_26 dll Error in NFS?

| December 19, 2010 | 0 Comments

Sana had mailed us earlier with the following question:

Whenever I try opening Need For Speed (NFS), I get an error saying ‘d3dx9_26 dll missing’. How can I solve this problem?

Thanks for the question, Sana. This problem is apparently due to a corrupt/obsolete DirectX installation in your PC. I would suggest that you download and install the latest version of DirectX to solve this problem.

BTW – A similar question was already asked to us, check out that answer as well.
