How to hide Empires and Allies, 60 photos and 21 questions notifications on Facebook?
Here’s a question from one of our subscribers :
I am a frequent user of FB and yeah, i do get a lot of notifications. But some of my friends make use of this Empires & Allies, 60 photos, 21 questions which are famous applications and as a result they spam my notifications by answering pointless questions in these apps and also by inviting me to use them. I wanna get rid of all this. Please help me out.
Thanks for bringing that up. Well, indeed it is possible to hide notifications of those apps which you don’t wish to see. Here are some simple steps which will help you in doing so.
- Log into your Facebook account.
- Hit the account tab present at the top right corner.
- Select account settings from the drop down menu which will appear eventually.
- In the resulting page, hit the notifications option from the list of options which will be present in the top left part.
- Scroll down and you will see a list of options under the label “All notifications” from which you have to select “Other Applications”.
- Now a list of all apps which you have used will appear along with check boxes. Un-check the boxes next to Empires & Allies, 60 photos and 21 questions to stop receiving notifications from them.
- Hit the save changes button.
- It is possible even to completely remove them from your account. In order to do that, scroll up and select the applications option present at the top left part of the page.
- A list of used applications will appear now. All you have to do is just click on the cross button next to the app to remove it from your account. Simple.
- That’s it. We are done.
