Here’s a question from one of our readers:
I am looking to hide the ‘Important’ tag/category on Gmail. Can you help me with this?

Thanks for the question. The Important tag appears on your Gmail interface due to the activation of a feature called ‘Priority Inbox’. To remove the Important tag, all you need to do is disable the Priority Inbox and you’ll be good to go. Let us now see how to do this:

- Login to your Gmail account.
- Click on ‘Settings’ at the top right.
- Click on the ‘Priority Inbox’ tab and choose ‘Do NOT show Priority Inbox’.
- Now, choose ‘Save Changes’.
