I have been quite an heavy user of the AIM (America Online Instant Messaging) application for quite a long time. Among the features i like about AIM is the fact it lets you pick the sounds that it plays for the following events:

1. When you send or receive a message
2. When your buddies sign in or out

Many AIM users are not aware to the fact that they can use every file in .wav (sound) format as their buddy sounds of choice and should not limit themselves to the options offered over at the AOL website.

Now how do i change my aim sounds ?

After you chose and downloaded your *.wav file from one of the sites i listed below, you can easily incorporate it to your AIM client. Do it by opening your AIM client, click Settings, and then click the Sounds tab, then browse your computer for the .wav file you downloaded and replace the AIM sound.
