How to delete a Yahoo messenger account?
Wandering around Yahoo! answers. i have seen many people asking how they can delete their Yahoo! messenger account.
OK, so let’s clarify this once and for all. You can’t delete your Yahoo! messenger account and still use all other Yahoo! services associated with that account. The reason why is that Yahoo! Messenger uses your Yahoo! account for authenticating you (same as other Yahoo! features such as Jobs, Geocities, MyYahoo!, Business etc’).
I would say you have 3 options:
- Stop using Yahoo! Messenger, and use other alternatives.
- Create a new Yahoo! account that you’ll use only for Messenger

I do not want that “messenger ” stuff popping up whenever I turn on computer. . . .
